Years serving Orangi Town

Who we are
Orangi Town is one of Asia's largest informal settlements. Most households here survive on daily wages — a single illness or lost job can undo years of effort. Al-Noor Welfare Trust was started by local residents, teachers and doctors who wanted help to arrive quickly, respectfully and without paperwork.
Our programs

Monthly stipends, ration packs, rent support and emergency grants for widows, orphans and daily-wage families.

General consultation, child health, maternal care, free medicines and discounted lab tests six days a week.

Three-month courses in MS Office, typing, graphic design and freelancing basics for boys and girls.

Stitching, embroidery, mehndi and beautician courses taught by women, with tools provided on graduation.
The clinic
Our clinic sits in Sector 11½ so no patient has to travel far or lose a day's wage. A Rs. 50 token covers the consultation; medicines, dressings and basic tests are free for families already enrolled in our aid program.
Daily consultations with qualified MBBS doctors.
Vaccination, checkups and nutrition guidance.
Prescriptions dispensed on site at no cost.
Mon–Sat, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 5:00 – 8:00 PM.

Skills & courses
Classes are free for families in need. Our women's batches are taught entirely by female instructors in a separate, purdah-friendly hall.

MS Office, typing, internet literacy, intro to design and freelancing.

Cutting, machine stitching, hand embroidery — sewing machine on graduation.

Bridal and festive mehndi designs, plus basic salon and grooming skills.
Impact

“After my husband passed, the monthly stipend kept my children in school. Now I stitch clothes from home and earn my own income.”
“My son's fever was treated the same evening for fifty rupees. That clinic is a blessing for our lane.”
Every rupee goes to aid, medicines and classrooms — our administration is covered separately by our trustees. Donations are Zakat-eligible and receipts are issued for every contribution.
